In a previous post (355 still using oil) quite a few members suggested dumping the low tension rings. But, the car is really running well and developing more power than I had hoped for, in terms of AutoCross. I'm able to smoke the tires through1 st. and a good part of 2nd., and that's with 335 Kumho V700's. The new Raptor built 700R4 (2300 stall) is unbelievable. Now I really need to re/learn driving the car with so much power. I never really dreamed I would ever get enough. But now I almost have to much for AX.
So my question for anyone who has used this ringset and vacuum pump setup. What is really involved with the install of the pump, what else is needed, how does it hook up to the motor, any pic's would sure be great. Also there is a new Moroso 4 vane on Ebay, currently $100. Will it work on a small block or would it require a 3 vane. I really hate the idea of tearing into a motor that is performing beyond my expectations!
