Instrument cluster illumination & tail lights
The instrument cluster illumination lights will come on for a few seconds when I first turn on the switch and then fade out. The tail lights and side marker lights do not light up at all. This is on my 85 vette. What could be causing this? I'm hoping it is a fuse, but with the LCD briefly lighting up and then fasding out, I don't think this could be the problem. Any ideas will be appreciated.

OK!!!!! The problem was a blown tail light fuse. I replaced that and all is working now. I do, however, have a side marker light out. But, now the instrument cluster illumination, etc. is back on.
