Though I'm not very handy in the shop I'm going to attempt to replace the bushings in the headlights of my 95 corvette. I've read several articles that some members have sent me and there seems to be two recommended ways to do this: remove the entire headlight assembly or not. The Corvette Fever article states that it's easier just to remove the entire assembly, put it on the work bench and do it!
Any thoughts from your experiences will be greatly appreciated.
Wish me luck!

Do it yourself. Please do NOT get raped by the dealer. You'll feel like Sucker Of The Year if you let them do this once you see hands-on what's involved in the repair. That's how simple it is.
Remove the entire assembly, put a clean shop towel down and lay your headlight assembly on it so you won't mar or scratch the finish on your headlight doors.
This is the simplest way to facilitate repair, IMO, due to the bolts, linkages and brackets that have to be removed.
