[QUOTE=vetteman904I AM TERRIBLY SORRY THAT A PROBLEM WITH A 25.00 PART CAN TURN INTO A SLANDEROUS LIBEL CASE.
IF ANY OF YOU GUYS KNOW ME, YOU KNOW I WOULD RATHER TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET THAN EVER BEAT ANYONE OUT OF A DIME. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME ED
p.s as far as slow shipping.we do the best we can[/QUOTE]

I didn't see anything slanderous or libel. Just a guy venting. IMO the whole thing could have been avoided by telling the buyer that you were in the middle of a move and you'd get to the item as soon as possible and it may take a week (WHICH IT DID!). Seems like you've had both good and bad comments from the forum, which is typical. Not everyone will be happy no matter what you do.

I'll be there tomorrow to pick up my rear.

Thanks

Ed, first and foremost, I'm not a mudslinger. My statement is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. You unequivocally stated the bracket will ship on 11/29/04 and I would receive it 11/30/04. I also stated I would drive to Long Island to pick up the bracket and you stated, "for $5.00 it's not worth it". Ask any forum member who knows me and they will confirm I have driven over 400 miles one way in order to rebuild my Corvette. As for the $25.00 selling price, where is the relevance? Regardless if the part in question is worth $25.00 or $2500.00 I should have received the part when promised.
As for demanding my money back you, this is also unambiguously untrue. I clearly and politely stated to Jodi I ordered the bracket because I NEED it. I explained I would rather have the bracket then the money refunded and this is when I was told I would receive a call back, which never materialized. I then called you and was told by Jodi the bracket is broke and my cash will be refunded.
This is the first time since owning my Corvette I've had an issue purchasing a part. As I read your reply you may not have had the bracket and absconded my cash hoping to locate a bracket.
Aristotle the great philosopher said, and I quote, "we are what we consistently do on a day to day basis".
You my friend, are full of $H!T!

The Forum allows factual posts to be made on unresolved disputes between members and/or involving a vendor, but only after every effort has been made to resolve the matter offline.

Then, the post must not become a rant or a running debate. We try to leave such threads open until all parties with direct knowledge of the matter have had a chance to post their version of the facts.

Then, the threads are locked.
