I think I'm having a problem with one of my blend doors (maybe i'm mistaken.) The air out of the vents blows warm all of the time, even when the a/c is on and the temp is at it's coldest position. Sometimes i'll hit a bump or something and the air will get cold for a while, then go back to hot (i'll hear a little clunk from behind the dash, hence the blend door suggestion.......)
Here's the question - what blend door would it be? are they all vacuum operated? How do I get to them?

The blend door is attached to the heater core cover under the passenger side of the dash. You have to go through most of the steps for a heater core to reach the blend door and motor.
It is electronic, at least in my car with the electronic ac, the door is moved by an electric motor.
and looking down into the box. Find a antenna or a hanger or something of the like and gently try to move the door back and forth.
Circled in yellow is one of two possible weak points. If it moves easily, one of the clips is broken or loose or something. If it gives you resistance, the clips are good. I don't know who, but another forum members has a good pic of the other clip in the interior. A topside(dash) view). I hope they chime in with that pic, I'd like to save it also. ignore the blue, it's where the A/C core goes and how air flows thru it.
The actuator uses vacuum (after being told to do so by an electrical signal coming from the controller on the dash) to move the door.

That first picture looks like the cut-out where the blower resistor mounts - what about the next two? Are those taken from inside or from outside the vehicle?
From outside. In the engine bay. I should've have said run the engine(to build vacuum) and have someone inside the car turn the A/C on and you look down in there to see if the door moves.
It's also possible you have a vac leak in the line or fitting that feeds the system.
