When I picked up my 1991 ZR-1 the seller had just bought new rims and tires for the car. The shop that mounted the tires failed to put the LTPWS band on the rims. I have all four of them. Do they have an internal battery that I should replace before having them installed?
Is there any reason that I should not install them? I could always put a little pic over the offending light on the information display.
I think the rims I have are A molds. Will the original LTPWS band work with them as well as the stock rims?

Wow that is a beautiful car!!! The LTPWS sensors should work with those rims. I was told by Just Corvettes here in Missouri that they should work with most aftermarket rims... but I've never seen one so I really don't know that to be true.
It doesn't hurt anything to not have them on the car. It actually saves weight... short of the annoying light in the DIC, I really don't think you need them on there.
