This sure is irritating as hell to hear....
Attn AFR (Air Flow Research) If you are reading this, please make sure you go over my heads very well before you ship them. I have worked a lot of overtime last month to be able to purchase a set of heads from your company, and I want the best for my money. The order that is mine is from Jim at Howard Racing in East Ridge, TN. The order is for sbc 195cc angle plug, 68cc chambers machined for perimeter bolt valve covers. These heads will be going to my local Machine shop upon arrival to be inspected. I chose AFR b/c of the outstanding performance that is offered. That is what ultimately made my descision. I figure I can sacrafice some performance by picking a different head if the ones I get from you require more work before they are right. Please take extra care in checking these out before you send them, otherwise you will refund me my money, and i'll have a set of ported canfields instead. While I do not want to do this, I more so dont want a crappy product. This is not meant to be a threat, it is more so a plea to not screw me over. I like the sounds of the heads you offer, and if I am pleased I intend to purchase more in the future. Please retain my business.
