Yes, with an excuse. Late 95 6 speed LT1s and all LT4s have a crossover pipe and and all 96s have an O2 sensor bung on the driver's side after the cat. Otherwise all the 92-96 LT1/4 exhaust systems are the same, same size tubes, same bends, same necking down at the mufflers....

With all of the cheap or free LT1/4 systems available here on the forum, if I had an L98 car I'd change it to one of them and get a hell of an upgrade for very little money. It would take a little fabbing at a muffler shop to hook it up, dual cats could be added easily, etc. Why spend a bunch of money for an aftermarket single system when you can have true duals this cheaply?

and that's what I'm gonna do... except I'm taking out the resonator and adding an Hpipe

Because as Silver & Red CE alluded to, some of the factory systems neck down to less than 2 1/2" at the various welds to the mufflers and the resonator. Wish I had pics handy of my OEM exhaust (it's in storage). It's eye opening. It also seems that it's hit or miss, some only neck down a little, some a LOT.

Exactly what I did. Car came w/ LT headers, and I used the LT-1 catback, looks and sounds GREAT
