Default 96 LT1 fan override switch ???

Vette Tech Gurus;
Is it possible to install a switch to bring the cooling fan manually on a '96 LT1??
I have an '85 coupe that I did that on and it works well, especially in traffic w/o the air on. I can bring the temp down at will. I know there is controversy as to what the temp should run at, but sometimes a guy just likes to be in control of the heat. A friend has a '96 coupe and would like to be able to switch on the fan, but doesn't know if that can only be done through the computer. Whattaya think? Is it as simple as it was on my old '85 L98?
Thanks

Mine is a 92, but I'd bet this could be done to yours:
