it began by sputtering...like out of gas.. but had 1/2 tank..
did..that a few times...then wouldnt start..
i changed the fuel pump...didnt help...
then put new injectors...ford 19 lb...from summit racing.. didnt help..
i do know i have fuel pressure..injector clicking..and spark..
the only way it runs..if i spray starting fluid in the plunum..
then..that runs out..back to sq one..
what else can i check ?
any is appreicated..
thx, will

How did you verify that you have fuel? Clicking injectors are no indication. It sounds like you DON'T have fuel. It runs until the starting fluid is gone, then dies. That sounds like a classic fuel delivery problem, to me.
i put a fuel pressure gauge.. to check it..
also i released the valve on the fuel rail.. and got lots of gas..
the injector are clicking away..so i asume they are working..
There is a HUGE sign above your vette: NO FUEL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its nice that your injectors are clicking, its nice that the pressure at the shrader valve is correct, its nice that fuel comes out of the shrader valve when you open it, the only thing that isn't nice is that fuel is not being sprayed out of the injectors into the manifold and that is what you need to find out why! While someone cranks the engine, you should smell the exhaust. It should smell like raw fuel if the injectors are doing their thing.
I had the same thing with mine if you look at the posts about a week ago. The problem with mines was the gas had gone bad. So I changed the fuel pump, injectors and fuel regulator. But it was the gas.
How long was your car sitting or is it a daily driver. I would do the following disconnected the line that sends fuel and put a hose to it and have it empty out to a gallon or container. You will need to have 12volt current to your bottom left connector of the ADLC. I used jumper cables and wire to energize to pump from the battery. ( saves you the head ache of sucking out the gas )
It worked for me and by the way my gas looked like squirt and had no smell to it. Hope fully it works for you
i've changed my fuel filter 6 nos ago..
i drive it daily...but did let it sit for a month just recently..
i'm getting gas to the fuel rail//and new injectors..
If the fuel pressure drops while you are cranking, you have a fuel delivery rate problem. A clogged filter (not matter how short a time ago it was installed), or a pinched fuel line, or a defective pressure regulator may be at fault. Just running the fuel pump without cranking can show normal pressure.
Didn't really get it from other posts, but have you tried starting it with the MAF disconnected. I had a failed MAF sensor and it did the same thing. I replaced filter, pump, pulled hair out and after unplugging MAF it started right up. It was limp home mode, but it ran. Good Luck
You do realize that the ECM has to recieve reference pulses from the ignition system to even turn on the fuel system....The relay will pressurize the fuel rail, but the injectors won't even fire unless it sees ignition fire - your spark plugs could even still be firing, but without the ECM relaying that message to fuel delivery, you wouldn't have fuel.
