sys flashing 3 times
Happy Holidays to all. My 96LT4 has not been started or run in about 3 wks. Took her for a ride today and noticed "SYS" would flash 3 times, go blank for about 30 secs and flash 3 times. Car started and ran fine, no problems. Could this be caused by a low battery? Thanks, Guy

Very possible. When my battery was weak it would do as you described.
What is your volts gauge reading? Mine is normally at 14.1 but with the "SYS" flashing it was down around 12.9-13.2, after the new battery it was back at 14.1

Sometimes my battery quik disconnect gets loose, it is very touchy. So I just tightened it up and it is reading 14.4 while running and 12.2 when off. I let it run for a few minutes and did not see sys flashing anymore. Hooked it up to the charger and battery is quite low. Hopefully charging battery and tightening connector will do the trick. When I get time and weather permits I will take her out for a nice ride and see if it is ok. Thanks MOJO, Guy
