G92 Perf Axle?
Looking to purchase a C4 and have seen the G92 option. What ratio is this? Thanks in advance!

There should be another RPO code that lists which ratio is installed mine shows G44 3.07.

Mine is listed as G44 G92
In my case, like teebee, the "G44" denotes the gear ratio. The "G92" means I have a performance axle ratio.

It depends on the year and coupe or vert for some years.
This applies for automatics only.

The G92 only means the performance axle ration option... it should be a 3.07 though.

Everyone is close on this...
The problem is understanding how GM issues RPO codes. Some only trigger other codes. Makes sense?
For example, the G92 means you have an optional rear gear ratio. That is all it means.
There are then specific codes to indicate the actual ratio.
You see, what is optional on one care, could be standard on another. So the G92 was used to let the system know it was getting a non-standard ratio.
I don't know all the ratio codes... the damned forum software lost my RPO thread...

That is the 3.07 in automatic cars. Doesn't sound that great but with the low gear ratio in the 700R/4L60E transmissions, it launches pretty well.
