Default AC help

During my top end overhaul,I purchased a new compressor, dryer and condensor.Im changing it over to 134a,I need to know how much oil to use and where to put it.does anyone have this info?

Just go to ackits.com and they'll tell you everything you need to know. I followed their advice changing my S-10 over to 134 and it worked beautifully! Joe

Agree with above, though you need 8 ozs of oil. Put 4 in the Accumulator, 3 in the compressor and 1 in either the evaporator or the condensor. Use Ester instead of Pag and be sure to swap out the orifice. Once everything is installed, turn the compressor hub (clockwise) a couple of times so that some is forced out into the condensor line.

Also remember to not use as much R134 as you did R12. I think it takes about three-fourths as much. Better to start with just a couple of cans and work from there. I used a blue ford orfice tube in my conversion as recommended.
