I've never seen a forged lower end destroyed that bad. What was the guy doing, spraying a 500 shot?

Don't say things like that, knock on wood, rub a 4 leaf clover, stick a horse shoe in my pocket ect... Nope just never seen a bottom end in that condition and it was an all 4340 bottom end.

I too was relieved to see it wasn't yours, Paul. I noticed the two bolt mains all stayed together, anyway. He seems to think the rod bolts came loose, only had about 10K on the engine and wasn't winding it that tight when it cut loose. I feel for him. If mine blew, I couldn't afford to build it back right now. She'd be down for a while.
