Default Back from the exhaust shop!!!

Decided on Hooker LTs, no cats, stock resonator, & stock LT1 mufflers. Sounds great, quiet @ cruise but roars to life @ WOT. I also deleted the AIR/EGR and am happy to report no DTCs. For the AIR I removed the plumbing and pulled the 25 amp fuse @ the air pump. For the EGR I removed the plumbing, replaced the valve with a LT4 block-off plate from GM, and plugged the vacum source. On a side note I had a header to motor mount clearance problem on the passenger side. Nothing a pry bar couldn't take care of though.

On the highway at a steady rpm, you'll probably get an EGR DTC. With the EGR system intact and high flow cats, I occasionally get an EGR DTC. One of these days when I'm not sooo lazy, I'll program out the code.

I'll reprogram once the Hotcam Kit goes in.

Sounds great! Do you think you'll have any problems with the smog check?
