For all those who doubt the sanity in chopping up your spark plugs, it works. I am not sure why it works but I can tell and overall improvement both at idle and at road speed. Will be interesting to see how long plugs last.
Did you replace perfectly good spark plugs with cut back plugs, or did you replace worn out spark plugs with cut back plugs?
Don't get me wrong, I've already got a set of cut back plugs waiting to go in my car the next time I feel like fooling with it. I'm just curious how much of the gain you felt is from the cut back electrodes and how much of it was just from a good tune up.
Two things, I think AC is now selling cut backs-anyone else here this? And the other is I read that cuts backs don't really add anything until around 5000 RPMs-Haven't tried them so I don't really know?
