I did a search on this and can't believe it comes up nada. My drivers side door hinges drops about an inch when I open the door. Can I replace just the bushings like in any other chevy or do I need two new hinges.
I have the same problem on my '88. Tried to lift the rear edge of the door last Summer. It didn't seem to even move ( yes, I did loosen the hinge bolts). I just got a hinge alignment tool for Christmas. I'll give it another try this Winter. If no luck I'll go the new hinge route.
There probably isn't a tech tip, however someone on the forum did a post not toooooooooo long ago about getting some bushings at Home Depot (I think) and using a bolt.
