HELP! 86 L98 code 34

HELP! 86 L98 code 34
So far I have replaced the EGR and the sensor at the thermostat housing.
Car runs hard and then loses all power ,power comes on after a few seconds.Check engine light comes on at that instant.?????????
Engine runs like crap .
Shut down the car start it up and its fine ,until it throws the light again.

One of my manuels said it was the EGR so I went there first and threw parts at it.

Take the connector of the MAF sensor to see if the engine runs better. That is one of the indication the MAF sensor is bad. The connector located at the bottom of the MAF right above the fan, do not disconnect while the engine is running, you can hurt yourself.
