curious as to what the diff is between your 4+3, and mine?
and can mine support 475 foot pounds?
The 87-88's had the strongest of the OD's from what Ive read. I dont' see why you couldn't hold 475lf/ft..Im putting 700 thru mine. Disclaimer...I dont drag race.

I'm making 445 ft/lb at last check and that was before some tuning. Pushing it through my 4+3 has been no problem at all. Many dead hooks at the track @ peak torque have yet to break it. Clutches is another thing.
Turbo cars are a lot easier on the drivetrain (for the most part) as the torque is brought on a bit more gradual as the turbos spool up. Sort of the same concept as to why some people use progressive nitrous controllers.
I sure would like to get out to your neck of the woods one day and pay you a visit. No only to see you but also to see the countryside there. Ocala really looks beautiful.
I don't know if you saw the thread but I got the car back from Norris and it's putting down 415/417 to the rear wheels. It's not anywhere near the numbers your car is putting out but I am still very happy with it. If I make my way out there I'll take you for a little ride.
Mike, yea I saw the thread! Those are awesome numbers. Your hp number isn't far off of mine at all(20), and you can rev to the moon compared to me. If you ever wanna come to Silver Springs, give me a yell. I got your hook up. Id love a ride in your car
Id post my new dyno sheet but it blew out the window at 90mph a couple of weeks ago Im going to go to Mike's shop soon(thrusday) and get another one
Sounds good! I'm dropping mine off tomorrow to get the oil temp gauge fixed as well as a minor oil leak. I should have it back by the weekend tho. I will also get the full dyno chart and post it when I have it.
