Default Lightweight fasteners

I am working on this topic right now and if you want we can work on it together and share information. I personally believe it will be viable. I am focusing from the door area forward.

I am guessing if you got creative, there is 30 pounds of weight to save in a car with fasteners and fittings.

I know at my local hardware store you can buy nylon fasteners. They dont have them in large sizes though, maybe 1/4-20 x 1 at the biggest. They have nuts and washers too. They weigh next to nothing. I would consider them for F fenderwell to gill panel, or other near no-load areas. I doubt they come in metric.
