Default Will lowering affect alignment?

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about buying a lowering kit from Ecklers for my '90. The kit is basically just a pair of front suspension wedges and a couple of longer rear bolts. I want to drop it about an inch or so. Will doing this mess up my suspension alignment at all? Will it affect rear tire wear? Thanks.

Yes. You'll need to get it realigned.

Drop it and align it.

The only thing that effects rear tire wear on my lowered '88 is the number & duration of burnouts.
