Default Another Valve Cover Question

I saw a pair of Valve Covers I wouldn't mind getting for my 86 L98 Vette. These valve covers have holes in them for the PCV valves but no hole to fill the oil, I am wondering what is the reason for this and in this case do you fill the oil through the PCV hole. Good idea or bad idea to get these Valve Covers ?????

Thanks

Sounds like a set of covers for an early s/b. The oil filler was a tube on the early engines.

I was going to say it sounds like two driver side covers.

Any pics?

Some of the very early covers had offset mounting holes. Later covers were in line. Even later were the centerbolts, as you probably know.
