EGR question
88 5.7 TPI
from the EGR up to the sending unit (by the thermo houding) we have 2 vacume lines. One goes from the EGR to the right side of the sending unit... the second vacume line goes from the sending unit (left side) to a port under the throttle body....
question is: on the sending unit it looks like something plugs into the rear of it. My vacume diagram sticker on the Rad just shows 2 lines. Is thier a third line that plugs in?

The third hole in the back of the "sending unit" (it is actually and EGR switch that controls vacuum to the EGR Valve) is a vent. When they are new from the factory they have a little foam filter that goes over the vent hole to keep the dirt out.
