If you have the desire to make it fit it will.

The D1R will fit (barely with about 5/8" of the "T" area hood support taken out. The D-2R requires the full hood support be removed above the blower (save ~1/8"), and sticks into the wheelwell by ~2" (it will clear the tire; barely). All of these measurements are with the blower volute as tight as you can get to the valvecover (~1/10") and as low as possible (shock totally ground to just the thickness of the nut and half of the rubber grommet removed on the D2R.

The D3R has a larger volute and WILL stick through the hood. I would also figure that it would rub on the inside of either a 275 or a 255 series tire.

But, if you want to install it on an L-98, I'm sure I could make it fit (requires skinnys up front). As an FYI, a D-1R is easily going to be able to push 1000+FWHP in a very streetable combo. A D2R should be able to cover that by 300-400 HP, but not quite as "streetable". Determine your "real" goals and proceed.
