Just had a Corsa LT1 system fitted to my 88 and I'm still grinning from ear to ear!!! What a system, bulid quality is second to none and it sounds awesome once the ECM has had a little time to re-calibrate itself. Had to have some stainless pipes made up to join the system to the headers as the L98 is quite different to the LT1. Fortunately here in the UK any car pre 91 can have all cats removed and still be road legal.
Also a fortunate side effect was my TC problem dissapearing. It couldn't decide to lock up or not (thanks CFI-TCI for your advice, you were right, must have been electrical with the O2 units), but since the O2 sensors were removed and put into the new system, it's locking up right on que. Anyone out there also had an unsolvable problem for two years then it suddenly dissapears? Great feeling ain't it, as well as topping off a great exhaust, I've had flowmasters etc but these are far easier to live with on a daily basis with the roar when you want it. Look great too. Thoroughly recomended.
Yeah, it's a true dual system unlike the standard Y configeration. Fitting is a snap once you have the pipes from the manifolds made up. O2's were tight, must have just disturbed something in them while changing them over????
I'm arranging to have my Corsa mated to the headers on my 85 as we speak. Where I live now is not exactly a hot bed of motorsports and finding someone who wanted to bother with mandrel bends was a challenge.
The Flowmaster Super 40's are more docile than regular 40's but still just too much, for me.

I too am just about to fit a corsa system on my Vette
where abouts in the UK do you live I am in Dorset
I'm up london way, Flowtech in essex are the guy's that sorted the system for me, but any decent exhaust specialist would be able to make the extra pipes and fit it. I also the front cats removed which seemed to give the car a bit more go. Do me a favour though, only use someone recomended. I made the mistake of taking my Camaro to a exhaust specialist in yellow pages and I ended up chasing them for £2000 (yes, I didnt overtype the zero's) worth of damages they did to the car. Steep learning curve on that one and wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. Best of luck and maybe catch you at the corvette nationals if youre going.
I will be fitting my own system dont trust any one else to work on the vette, I own my own auto business so I am lucky to have all the tools and the equipment I need.
have the engine out at the mo to fit cam / heads / manifolds etc cant wait to get it back together
Ill look for you at the Nationals hopefully
