Default Question about Transmission Lines

I have a set of pretty messed up auto tranny lines. They have been bent all crazy and cut for the tranny cooler put in by the last transmission shop.
I've left them alone as they "work" when I got the transmission rebuilt, but thinking about upgrading my cooler and would like to do something cleaner with them.
The question is how hard is it to replace the lines? From what I have read it looks like you can't get any tools in to remove the flare-nuts on the tranmission side of the line without dropping the tranny some.
Knowing what a major PITA it was to get that torque arm realigned when I replaced my rear-end the idea doen't appeal to me much. I was wondering if there is any way to avoid this?
Car is in storage right now, so can't just go jack it up and take a quick look to see.
Also, does anybody know if I can just buy a set of new lines, or would I have to bend my own?

Thanks.

I know there are some places that will make the lines for you and ship them to you. If you can't locate any sources let me know and I will provide one from a friend of mine who has done it already.
