How do I install the high performance billet servos?
I have an 86 with 700r4. I have a 4th gear high performance billet aluminum servo, and a 2-4 high performance billet aluminum servo. How exactly do I install? I heard I might have to grind down the servo pin. I DO NOT want to mess the thing up, or not be able to adjust band properly. I need the steps from start to finish. Here are pics of the servos that I have ready to install. I already did transgo shift kit, .500 boost valve, and .283 int/rev boost valve. Thanks.

I have not installed that kit so I am not familiar with the specifics. I do know that when new the factory uses a selective lenght servo pin that matches the case. There are 3 and the are approx .005 different in length. You can see a little makes a big difference. Kent moore makes a too that checks the length as installed in the trans. This tool is 350 clams. If in doubt I would have a pro check it or use the corvette servo. There is no adjustment of this band like some transmissions have. The pin length is critical.
