Default Transmission is out(pics).

Worked on it off and on this weekend and finally got her out around 4:30 today. The worst part was the left side middle bell housing bolt, I had to fight that one .
The driveshaft is out,

I used that jack to pull my A4 two weeks ago. It worked out very nice!

I'm happy to see you got it out and without the troubles that I had with trying to do it with the wrong tools.

Now one thing I had a problem with putting it back in was that once it's in there you can't undo the strap. What I did was just pull the bolt that holds the strap into the jack on the drivers side (the other side will work too) and then I was able to unhook it.
