Default Corbeau TRS Leather Seats

I am looking at putting TRS leather seats in my 96 vette. Im a little concerned that the stock seats are about 19.5" wide on the bottom and the corbeaus are 20.5". But actually the bigger concern is the seat back is 36" tall and the stock seats are only 32-32.5" tall. Has anyone put 36" tall seats in a C4? Im wondering how close to the roof they are going to be and if they will look really weird.... Pictures would be great... also any input on 36" tall seats and TRS seats in particular... thanks,
Dan

Be careful.
I'm in the process of putting aftermarket seats in my '96 and you will NOT be able to use the power seat bases with the taller seats. You will need that extra 4" that the PS bases use up.
My aftermarket passenger seat is in and the driver's seat goes in this weekend. I'll be posting pictures when the job is done.
HINT: there's a lot more to it than I ever anticipated!
HINT II: the extra inch in seat width will be a BIG deal....

Do they have a tilt/recline mechanism on the side? If so, they definitely won't fit.

Hammer's right.
I had to remove one side adjustment **** and modify the other side's **** on each seat to get them to fit in the cockpit.

It's very likely they will not fit
From the floors to the roof is just over 3 feet

Don't overlook the Corbeau CR1 seats. They will fit in the C4 and cost about $750 for a pair from MAM.

Does the parking brake have to be removed with the Forza seats and can they be used the power seat track?? I want to replace the driver's seat in my 87 with something that will give me better support for autocross and track use and I have a 5-point harness, but I would really like to keep the parking brake asembly.
