Need info on the stealth ram
I 'think' I've decided to go with a Stealth Ram intake setup (although I've still got a while to think about it and may very well change my mind). I need specs.
I know there are hood clearance issues, what are they (as in how much)? Is it just the TB that hits the hood or if you take the TB off does the front of the plenum hit the hood as well?
For those of you that are running a modified plenum, where did you get it. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard for a competant machine shop to fab one up if they had the original one to go by. Has anyone tried to just cut the front of the plenum at an angle and bolt the TB up to it (of course I know you'd have to re-tap the screw holes or make a new front, ect.)
Also this may sound like a dumb question but I've never seen it with the plenum off so I don't know how it mounts, would it be possible to just mill off the top of the runners and bolt the Stealth Ram plenum to that, or is this not feasable?
Anyone have pics of the clearance issues?
