Not in my Vette but in my street driven 1982 S-10 with street tires and mufflers.

9.41 at 143 with a 1.27 60 foot on Hoosier quick time pro street tires.
5.98 at 114 in the 1/8 miles. (same run)
Engine made 800 horsepower at the flywheel with a mild nitrous tune up. The et and horsepower lead me to believe there is more in my combination that I haven't found yet.

That doesn't change if the temp is +110 degrees, or -110 degrees.

14.7 x .9458 = 13.903. The mph correction number is 1.0573. So a 93 mph 1/4 mile speed corrects to 98.33. Better weather and a lower DA may make your car faster, but these are the times corrected to NHRA sea level equivalents.

Not bad, actually. Especially if it's a Crossfire. When I first went to the track, the best *I* could muster was a 16.75 @ 4400" feet, with about a 2.40, 60'. I think I've done fairly well for a mostly stock Crossfire and little money. Keep at it.

RACE ON!!!
thanks now I know how to correct my time somewhat thanx. cause it is pitiful posting 1/4 time from these high altitude
when I started racing I started at a 15.3 at 91mph

Carbed 350 in a 1985 vette.
Only time at track with new motor it ran a 12.61 @112 mph but it was bogging bad off the start.

Hey Jeb, you might be able to take to the 6 speed and IRS record from the Heffner Viper. That would be wild. Good luck.

If using the DataMaster 1/4 time estimator counts, my very stock 86 ran a 14.02 @ 98.5 Only engine mods are going catless with Borlas.
