Any tech articles on how to change a radiator on an 86 with a auto transmission cooler?
I have a new transmission ready to go into the car, the exisiting one was amateur rebuilt, does work , though leaks. Would changing the radiator/tranny cooler be a bad idea untill the new one is installed?

Changing the radiator is pretty intuitive, and straight foreword. No tricks or tips are really necessary. If you change it before the trans swap, be sure to do a thorough flush of the cooler and cooler lines when the trans goes in. This should be part of a trans change in any case.
