Default Need advice on removing door panels

I've taken out the screws on the botton, the back side by the release, the front middle, and all the ones in the door release mechanism... But I can't get the panels to come off. My window is still up, but I didn't think that'd make a difference. It seems like its something in the top middle part of the door panel.

If anyone has advice, I'm all ears. : )

Thanks,
Joe

Umm, what year Vette??

The '88 has a screw on the door edge, just below the hatch release button.

The bezel and door lock tabs also need to be removed. Once you do get it off, be sure to disconnect all the connectors, immediately. Hatch button, wiper switch and lock button. The wires are short and break easy and fast!

I agree with the last post and in addition remember to lift UP on the entire panel to release the tabs along the window.

Year is '91. I took a look into the Haynes manual I have, I need the window down. To my dismay, I have a dead battery. : /

Not sure why you need the window down to get it off. I had to to put it on but not take it off.

the door lock rod has a plastic cover on it, you need to pry that off then fish the lock rod through the plastic bezel.

The doors on these cars are a real bitch.
