LT1 Alternator Pulley
I am trying to remove the LT1 pully off of the alternator and replace the ugly fan. I have a Mallory fan and pully. There is a March reduction pully on there now ( 25% tiny pulley same on Impala's and Corvettes) and this is on my impala.
Now I have the Allen wrench, but I have nothing that will fit on the 15/16 bolt. My socket will fit, but if I use that I can't get the Allen on the center bolt to hold it still. I bought a 15/16 deep offset at Sears and it is still too fat to fit in the hole where that f&%@king bolt is sitting.
I am out of ideas.....any help ?

I think I just use a socket on an impact gun and used my hands on the fan/pulley to keep it from spinning. I think the impact gun is the key.
