engine bogging
We have a 93 LT1 A4. Just recently the car is bogging down when the petal is pressed over 3/4 to the floor. It is just about the same place as the kick down. When you press the gas till the trans down shifts, the trans will downshift, but then if I keep the petal down the car just keepds bogging. If we press the gas all the way down it boggs continuously, and reduces power and speed. If I then slowly back the petal off, it will begin to regain power when it is back past the 3/4 to the floor. The only time it boggs is when it is past 3/4 to the floor, and it does not stop bogging until I back off the gas. The car is stock with no mods. I am thinking fuel pump or fuel filter. No codes. Even in park, if I push the petal over 3/4 way to the floor, bogging.

restrictive fuel filter, faulty regulator, faulty fuel pump.
Did you check it out in park. Does it "bogg" at certain RPM?
Put on a fuel pressure gauge, turn on engine, manually turn the throttle, see if FP drops.....just my $0.02

Changed fuel filter, and problem solved. I can not beleive how much more power the car has now. It is like I have a new engine. Hard to beleive a $10 part could cause a car to run so bad.
