I'll run this by you guys. Assuming in it in great condition, a white 92 one owner with 34K miles, is it worth the 23.5K asking price?
I can't decide if I should talk him down a bit or what to offer. Problem is it looks to mint to bargin, but I havent seen it yet...

Only 502 cars made in '92. Provided everything works as it should 23.5 seems like a fair deal. It never hurts to try to get it cheaper though. I like white on a Z, what's the interior color?

I thought that was a fair price also. I wanted to keep it in the 20K range, so its not too far off.
It has the black interior and I guess it is all stock except for a Doug Rippie computer chip. It will more than likely stay that way.

I didnt want white at first, but the more I look at it, the more I fall in love with it. I would like Quasar blue, but one of my 84s is quasar bue, so Ill get something different.
I just didnt want red. I dont know why, but I was trying to aviod red and black.

Well I saw it this morning.
I am going to the bank tomorrow to get some money. This car was perfect. Not a scratch, everything worked, no leaks. I had nothing to talk him down on the price so I didnt even try.
It ran perfect, no vacuum leaks, no leak at the oil cooler. Underneath is mint and clean. Car is unmodified except for a Doug Rippie chip(he has original), and a regular Corvette windshiled. He said the original one started to delamanate, so he had a normal Vette one put in, not that I can blame him, I would have too.
New GSC tires. WOW is all I can say.
He even has all the paperwork, drivers packet, video and window sticker. What more can I ask for???
What do you think the loan value of a 92 Z with 34K miles is? Just wondering before I hit the bank tomorrow.

Congrats on the decision.
I can't see a bank turning down a loan for $23K for such a low mileage special edition Vette.
And as far as white, I wasn't too crazy about it until I got a white one(good deal). Now I think they look great.

Happy to hear you found a beauty! IMO, your decision to buy a pristine car instead of a "fixer-upper" is a wise one. My experience has shown me that the best cars usually end up being the least expensive over the long haul. You'll have to make a visit to Madison, WI in the spring when the weather becomes nice. Best of luck with the financing!
