I usually take the wife's car and my company car to the Jiffy Lube. I have changed past corvettes at my Dad's 400 miles away. I would like to change my oil here at home, but have never done it at home. My question is, what do you do with the oil that has drained out? Where do you take it?
When I drain the Mobil 1, there's usually not even 3 thousand miles on it, so I use it in my '76 Chevy P/U.
Otherwise, many parts stores will recycle it for you.
