Default Engine grounds / Idle problem

Thanks to everyone who answered my post about the grounds on the rear of the engine, Mine looks just like the ones posted by prhogs' photo, I have a '91 so that might help others in the future. I checked 'em out, they look okay. that's the good news. Bad new is I was hoping they would be loose and be causing my high idle / low idle condition.

Still looking for the AC clutch relay, I think it sends a signal to the ECM to tell it to adjust the idle, don't know if that is it, but want to check it out. If anyone knows where it is, let me know. Sometimes the idle is not effected at all when I turn on the AC, sometimes the idle drops several hundred RPM and will stall when coasting to a stop. Iv'e replaced the IAC and map, cleaned the TB, lots of stuff.

I'm gonna disconnect the ECM today and check out all the pins, if I don't find it soon, it's gonna be a call to Gorden Keibrew, sounds like he is the ZR-1 guru.

Thanks again everybody

What chip is installed in your computer?

My 90 has idle problems but its due to the factory chip that is installed

Iv'e got a tuned chip and the factory one, the cars idle persists no matter which one is in.

The guy who did my chip is in Dallas, been so long, can't remember his name. found him on the ZR-1 net.
