I talked to a buddy of mine yesterday in Las Cruces that knows Steve, he said that his 93 Blue with White Int ZR1 is sitting rotting in the sun behind his house. Said at some point a family of skunks was living INSIDE of the car and the white Int is shredded. Aparently when the C5 Zo6 came out he retired the ZR1, then when the C6 zo6 came out he retired the C5 Zo6, and now he has a C6 ZR1 and the C6 Zo6 is retired to the back yard grave yard too.

I'm going to try and get down there at some point and check it out. It makes me sick that the ZR1 that started my love for these cars is being left to that condition.

Oh no!!!!!!!!! Shame!

That is a VERY rare and beautiful Z. Too bad he couldn't have stuck it in some barn.

Cannot be a 93 quasar/white, there was only 1.

It could be a 92 quasar/white 1 of 1 or it could be a 92 or 93 AQUA.

The car is for sure a 93, Must not be Quasar must be Aqua. I'll make sure to grab the VIN when I go see it.

That's a crying shame of a story... unreal that someone who cared for the car would allow that to happen.
