Maybe the forum moderaters can change this area or add another (I think ammending this one to include Callaway's would be just fine :yesnod: ) But anyways, @Carlisle, a few Callaway's cought my eye... As far as they go, there were 3 groups...TT's, Supernaturals, and the INSANE!!!
There was, in the "for sale tent"and fun fields the following... (add more if you saw them...)
>the red 89 TT convert aerobody (Idrove last Fall)<non B2K w/ oz wheels>F/S
>Burg 91 TT convert aerobody ("trifan"billet wheels :U and 2 tops-)F/S
>92 Supernatural cpe (blk rose aerobody, auto, custom embroidered leath)f/s
>94 ZR1 TT (INSANE!) blue reg. body 'cept for 2 HUGE holes in the hood!f/s
>88 TT 35th anniv(1of3)auto."greenwood kit" (shoulda kept the hood closed...looked like a hammer had been all over the TPI and FILTHY!!!) f/s
>87 TT red/graphite nice stock, f/s lots of paperwork!
>89 TT convert. reg.body w/ trunk rack 6 spd red/blk/blk f/s
>90 TT convert, aerobody, teal, blk, blk on show field (wasn't this Reeves personal car back then??? #005)
>2 ZR1 err...CR1's, one was red and the other was the blue one from Discovery Channels film on FAST cars...(filmed in Mont.=no spd limit
:D ) on funfield w/ aerobodies...
>2 96 Grand Sports SN 435's one had reg. body, one had aerobody)
>87 TT Blk,graph, blk convert. absolutely TRASHED!!!!!!!!!!!crooked exhaust, just forget I ever mentioned this car...
>89 TT Red, blk, 6 spd aerobody cpe.
supposedly another 87 TT was there (car # 188) that was converted in 89 and is an automatic, didn't see it though.
Anyways...paint your pictures in your mind of a PA blue sky and CALLAWAY's :D 'cause I don't own a digital camera...
enjoy...*89x2*

The asking prices were for the 87 TT in the low 30's, the 89 aero convert was 43k, 91 aero convert 69k, 88TT 35th anniv was 39k+ FIRM!, ZR1 TT was 145K, 92 snat was 65k... Hope this helps, any ?'s feel free to ask...

The red convert areobody that I drove last year was one of the better deals however, it was a "direct conversion car" (Non B2K) and had the incorrect wheels (which everyone noted). The 35th anniv claimed to be one of 3 (Stan, maybe you can help me out here..I thought there WERE 4 of them a few years ago- did one vanish  ) also the 35th anniv was TRASHED!!!!and he still wanted 39k FIRM!!!
How is your deal coming on the 88 you were looking at? What are the details on it (I am not going to snake it out from under you-don't worry)

Re: Since this area seems to be for ZR1's & Callaway's,CALLAWAY'S (*89x2*)
Hi Everyone,
The 35th anniversary edition had 7 Callaway TT cars made. Four were manual and three were automatics.
I had heard that several of these cars were trashed and several more were being driven. They were purchased as long term investments but the market slowed down and values with it. As to the current number of these anniversary model still around in showroom condition, I am guessing when I say probably three.
With regards to the number of Callaway TT cars still on the road, the last number was between 330 to 360 cars. Part of the reason for the loss had to do with many owners under insuring their cars. Insure yearly reports on Corvettes confirmed this since 1987. Also the number of cars that left US shores over the years has grown. Originally, we estimated that 20 or so cars since 1987 were shipped over seas, now I believe it has risen to 40-45 cars through the 1990's.
The key with this model is how many of the remaining cars are in showroom condition with low mileage (coupes/convertibles combined). Here is our best guess:
1987 TT......................... 7
1988 TT......................... 6
1989 TT......................... 12
1990 TT......................... 22
1991 TT......................... 20
Hope this helps,
Stan A :chevy

How much you drive is up to the indvidual. Only when buying does this have a baring on the condition and what someone should pay.

Re: Since this area seems to be for ZR1's & ... (*89x2*)
I recently bought my 1991 Aero Convertible for $50K. I bought it from Corvette Mike and I think I got an awesome deal with slightly less than 12K miles and the car had been upgraded to 450 HP in 1993 (but I don't think the dealer knew about this until after I had purchased it, my car has the same engine as the TT Speedster). I thought I would share the valuation info I researched in buying my car.
I didn't find any 1991 for sale for under $50K, most of them in the mid $60K+ range, this included cars already sold at auctions (Kruse, Barrett-Jackson, etc). The cheapest for sale was an 87 in the UK where they were asking about $20K but it would have to be imported. Most 87's were selling for more the average ZR1 price of about $30K.
I thought about a new Z06 (same price range as the one I bought) but the Callaway is already depreciated vs the Z06 and I believe to be much more collectable as time goes on. Plus the one I bought was faster than a new Z06. I'm very happy with my reasoning and the results.
While at Corvette Mike I got to sit in the TT Speedster they have for sale :-)
Took some nice pics (email me if you want copies). After they tried to sell it on e-bay 3 weeks ago (high bid of $118K but did not meet reserve), all of a sudden there were 3 1991 TT Aerobody's on eBay, but they never met their reserves, highest bid in the mid $30K range. Obe of the cars was yellow, one red, and one Quazar Blue Mettalic. I suspect maybe these were for sale at Carlisle.
I hope this info helps.

The Yellow one you mentioned was for sale last year as well.....but not at Carlisle...
The other aerobody convertible at Carlisle was a red/red/white top 6 spd however, it was NOT a B2K car.... it was what is called a "direct conversion" car basicly meaning, it was brought to Callaway from dealer stock or an owner that wanted to upgrade their Corvette...
I too am fairly new to Callaway ownership however, I have been around Callaway's since 1987!!!!!!!!!!!! Once again, good luck w/ your car Luigi...see the other posts on CALLAWAY reuinons... :seeya later *89x2*
