Chromeillusion ZR-1 @ Carlise
I was talking to the owner of this car. It was a 94 (I think) It was black before this and he had it @ the Gathering two years ago. He said it took :D 21 or 22 pints of paint to do the car. It has a chorme DRM 500 w/a 125 shot of NOS :D on it. Car is beautiful and pix don't do it justice. Also there was a destroyed red/black 94 that was a sad sight. :cry :U :(

Re: Chromeillusion ZR-1 @ Carlise (90 Corvette ZR-1)
The owner of that ZR-1 is one of our members from Michigan. Unfortunately,I never got a chance to go over & check it out this weekend.
90 Corvette ZR-1;where did you have your car parked? Was it in our Corral?

Clint,
Yes I did have my car parked in the coral. It was the one that Mom chose. You did a heck of a job putting that picture together. My car was the last car to be parked facing the road in the "5" 90 red/red chrome ZR-1 5 spokes. :D

Re: Chromeillusion ZR-1 @ Carlise (Trizney)
I talked to the guy as well @ Carlisle. The body is either carbon fiber or kevlar(?) as well. Plus, the dash has been customized and a killer ($$$$) sound system installed takes up most of the back area, with the nitrous bottle situated in between. He said the tent is necessary to keep the body from expanding too much in direct sunlight.
