Lingenfelter Headers
It appears Lingenfelter is making headers or having them made. They are available for $895. 304 stainless and look as good as Jeals according to the salesman. I purchased a set so I will let you know what they look like.

Where and from whom did you purchase these headers,Joel? Did you buy them direct from LPE or a third party?

Hmmmmm:(
GUess that means my headers, which I'm finally ready to take orders on, are obsolete due to the 'big name' getting into the game.. Now I know how Preston Tucker felt... Geeesh...:( Oh well.....

Re: Lingenfelter Headers (ZR WON)
Brian, the opportunity to replace Watson only allowed a short window of time to get to market. I believe you had other things going on and the demand will not wait. I doubt LPE is even aware that you intend to make ZR-1 headers. I would bet LPE started looking for header options as soon as Earl stopped making the Watson's. They have been using Watson headers in the past and needed to find a replacement quickly for their customers.
Now, if you can still get these headers to market in a timely fashion and offer a quality product for a little less money, then you will still sell some.
I doubt anyone will ever get rich making ZR-1 headers anyway.

I agree, the only reason I bought them was the headers were on the shelf and I have an engine build in process and I will have enough problems getting all the parts to Aarons shop and it was one less thing to worry about.
Brian, I will let you know what Aaron and I find out about them and you can build your stategy from there. Don't be depressed there is an underserviced area with ZR1 aftermarket and headers is definately in that category. You build them and people will buy them.
