A thought about plug wires............
From my experience as a tune-up tech in the '80s. .I don't expect to need any for at least 100k mileage.

that is probably true. I think the under hood temps and having the wires under the plenum will make them break down a bit faster but they do seem to last a long time. I changed mine out last time the plenum was off so a "collector" could have shot at those pricey lt5 silk screens.
I think the MSDs are a scotch better in quality, no diff in HP though.
