What makes this deal better is that Car Toys has the Pioneer unit on sale for $1399 and there are two factory incentives that are really nice. First they throw in this portable GPS for free(retail $599)
Then there is a $200 rebate on the installation. So that softened the blow a little.

very nice...I'm hopping to get a simliar unit installed by the end of the year to early next year. That pioneer unit looks sweet in there. They did a great install. Good choice.

I remember thinking when GM started putting Bose stuff in the `vette, "can't they do any better than that?"

Holy Cow!! That came out fantastic! Maybe something to think about once I get all the other things taken care of. Thanks for sharing!
FYI: The Bose name has never really been much of anything. Their reputation is all a product of great marketing. Sadly, the performance of their products have never matched the performance of their marketing department.

Mine has already been replaced once and the left front speaker is weak/intermitant/nonexistant along with the outrageously poor reception. It is the worst stereo I've had in any car I think.

Remember... You said you wouldn't waist your money on this, instead you would do other mods...

That does look good, Im sure it sounds nice too.
After this last weekend " PNW LT5 tour " 200mile run I never had the radio on
Just the sweet sound of LT5 @ 7200rpm
Hey Nick do you have your hearing back yet
