Hurst Shifter
I installed a Hurst shifter this weekend. I took a ton of pics and plan on doing a little how to for novice mechanics. The shifter is well worth the effort. Probably this best mod. for the money. Thanks to Chris and Bob for there info.

Garry, we're anxiously awaiting your pics and how-to write up. I really want to install this shifter, and would love to hear more feedback and see your pictures before I order one and start the project. Thanks!

Re: Hurst Shifter (ZZZZZR1)
Well...I 'll get it going asap. The instructions supplied with the shifter are very good. Just figure it taking about a half a day doing it by yourself. You will need someone to help line the shaft that connects to the trans.

Thanks for the post Garry. I appreciate the support and the pics.
Omnious & Nick, here are the installation instructions. Installation is much more involved than the C5 by nature of the ZF trans design.

Take it step-by-step and it's not that bad. Plan for up to 6 hours, some have done it in under 1 hour, I generally take 3-4 but I'm not the fastest mechanic around.
thanks,
Chris
