Don't mean to but in on your post, I never served....but noticed many of you served during my dad's era. He was in the 9th marines 3rd division in Viet Nam from August of 65-66.

Yeah once you hit 10 years its all down hill from there all I have to do is show up to work yell, drink coffee, tell war stories and sea stories and people do what I say its great
Its a pretty amazing job I have I mean not to many people get to do what I do and I get paid for it not alot but enough plus I like to travel the world on the marine corps dime ive been all over the world.

Hey I bet my left nut that some of your work is still on flying aircraft.
There are CH-53 less than 50 feet away from me right now as I type.
But im on the New V22 smoke a 53 in speed anyday and thats what I like!

Echos... The V22 is the replacement for deltas and 46s.

There are still delta 53s on hawaii the rest are Echos
The deltas have been going over to okinawa and a few were in iraq in 2004-2005 last time I was there getting some action!
