Couple of questions about the picture in post #80. Where is the A/C compressor and lines? What is the little hose to the left of the fans?

Lowflight,

On post #100 - of the Baer rotors. Did you apply some type of spray to the wheel wells to give them that textured look?

Yes. I had to clean the pic up because it was in my garage and too dark. THe wheel wells are smooth. However, I do use Adam's In and Out spray on them which works great and lasts forever.

Mike Yeager never ceases to amaze me with his passion for these cars.

I tell you what, if it's unique and only 5 of them exist in the world and it's called a Corvette, "Corvette Mike" probably has his hands on about 4 of them.

What is that tank next to the motor? Dry sump?

Looks to me like coolant overflow. I don't think the ZR-1 had a dry sump system, but i could be wrong.

Something about the braided lines going to it makes me think otherwise. Also, note the unusual upper A arm in the pic.

This is an active suspension car. What you see is the hydrolic system that adjusted the suspension. It had its own microprocessor and was the precursor to the current system.

I thought he was referrering to the tank on the bottom of the picture with what looks like a radiator cap on it.

My mistake. Why has this thread come to a standstill? Sure would like to see a few pics of a Dark Rose Metallic Z.

Very nice cars all! Let's see some more. Any more DRM ZR-1's? I remember going to the Corvette event in Spearfish/Deadwood, SD years ago and seeing a number of DRM cars running the autocross event.
