Default Runner Porting - How is it done?

Can somebody explain exactly how the plenum runner porting is done? Since we're dealing with a bent tube (I'm guessing) 5 or 6 inches long, how do yo get in there and remove the right amount of material and not get the walls too thin? I assume there is some sort of a flexible bit or reamer available?

Extrude hone is the best method for bends.

Won't remove enough material.

Hans, you have several different attachments when doing the porting. All are chucked on a han tool to get the most manueverability.

That really depends on the operator of the machine and materials used.

THe divider doesnt run all the way up as far as I can tell. Takes a lot of time to learn actually. Just making stuff bigger, or "hoggin stuff out" can in some cases lose you performance and in the process ruin a perfectly good part. I know nothing about the latter
