Here is my failure mode which is intermittent, my Z will start to miss and buck, SYS flashes, speedometer goes to 0mph & security light flashes. I Have had the VAT disabled,
I does flash a code 51 Mem (cal issue). I have replaced the prom & it still will fail intermittently

I had the same issue a long time ago. New ECM fixed it.
