Default Liner Removal

What is the best method for removing the cylinder liners?
Does anyone have the removal tool in the service manual that I could borrow? I know there’s one on Eb@y right now, but it’s not going to go cheap, I’m afraid, and I only need it once.

The LT5 tapes showed them using a rubber mallet from the bottom hitting the handle with another hammer and it knocked it out.

never pulled a liner but I would think a really stiff board across the liner at the bottom would allow you to either bang it out or drill a hole in it and use a fender pull hammer.

I still have some used liners and pistons lying around if you need one. a used crank with one bad journal too.

I need to clear this stuff out!!! good luck, let me know if you need any pieces parts

My engine guy pulled them with a dent puller style system. They came right out...

He cut a custom size aluminum plate for the bottom of the cylinder.

I also think Bill K has them advertised on the Registry for around $80

I have tried to talk to that guy about tools countless times and he always leaves me hanging.
